Both Science and the Study of the Occult look to solve the same problems, and often with the same tools. The same pen that writes an incantation can be used to solve a formula. The same fire that can heat an erlenmeyer flask can burn beneath a cauldron. Both the Warlock and the Lab Technician have their own educational bias and their own worldview that colors their results. The experiment and the ritual can inspire wonder, create fear, give answers and create new questions. This album was born of the handhold between the methods of the Supernatural and the Scientific and hopefully creates a soundtrack to question both and celebrate both as well...
